Pisa Calcio
History
Pisa Sporting Club is an Italian professional football club based in Pisa, Tuscany. The club was founded in 1909 and currently plays in Serie B, the second tier of the Italian football league system.
Domestic
Pisa has won the Serie B championship twice, in 1984–85 and 1986–87. They have also won the Serie C1 championship four times, in 1959–60, 1971–72, 1984–85, and 2006–07. In addition, Pisa has won the Coppa Italia Serie C twice, in 1985–86 and 2006–07.
International
Pisa has competed in European competitions on several occasions. They reached the semi-finals of the UEFA Cup in 1988–89, and the quarter-finals of the UEFA Intertoto Cup in 2008.
