Popeyes

When I was a kid, Popeyes was my favorite place to go. I loved the fried chicken, the mashed potatoes, the biscuits, and the sweet tea. I would always get the same thing: a two-piece chicken dinner with a side of mashed potatoes and a biscuit.

One day, I was at Popeyes with my family when I saw a little girl staring at me. She was about five or six years old, and she had big, brown eyes. She was wearing a pink dress and her hair was in pigtails. She looked so innocent and sweet.

I smiled at her and she smiled back. Then, she pointed at my chicken dinner and said, "That looks good." I laughed and said, "It is good." Then, I took a bite of my chicken and offered her a piece.

She hesitated for a moment, but then she took the chicken and took a bite. Her eyes lit up and she said, "This is the best chicken I've ever had." I smiled and said, "I'm glad you like it." Then, I gave her the rest of my chicken.

She ate every bite of it and then licked her lips. She looked up at me and said, "Thank you." I smiled and said, "You're welcome." Then, she turned and walked away.

I never saw that little girl again, but I never forgot her. She taught me that even the smallest act of kindness can make a big difference in someone's life.

So, next time you're at Popeyes, think about that little girl. And if you see someone who looks hungry, buy them a meal. It might just make their day.
