Poultry recalled BrucePac meat recall

The meat and poultry products from BrucePac have been recalled due to possible listeria contamination. All products with the establishment number "EST. 18294" on the packaging are subject to the recall.

The recall includes all of BrucePac's ready-to-eat meat and poultry products, including:
• Chicken
• Turkey
• Ham
• Bacon
• Sausage
• Deli meat

The products were sold at retail stores nationwide. The recall was issued after the USDA found listeria in the ready-to-eat poultry products. Listeria is a bacteria that can cause serious illness, including fever, muscle aches, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. In severe cases, listeria can cause meningitis or bloodstream infections.

Consumers who have purchased any of the recalled products should not eat them. The products should be returned to the store where they were purchased for a full refund.

BrucePac is working with the USDA to investigate the source of the contamination. The company is also taking steps to prevent future contamination.

For more information about the recall, consumers can call BrucePac at 1-800-366-1320 or visit the company's website at www.brucefoods.com.
