Premier League Standing

The Premier League is back in full swing!!!

After a summer of transfer speculation and excitement, the 2022/23 season is finally underway. And it's already been a season of surprises, with some of the traditional powerhouses struggling and some of the lesser-fancied teams impressing.

Here's a look at the current standings after the first five matches:

  • Manchester City (15 points)
  • Tottenham Hotspur (12 points)
  • Newcastle United (11 points)
  • Arsenal (10 points)
  • Chelsea (9 points)
  • Liverpool (9 points)
  • Manchester United (6 points)
  • Brighton and Hove Albion (6 points)
  • Fulham FC (5 points)
  • Wolverhampton Wanderers (5 points)

As you can see, it's Manchester City who are leading the way at the moment, having won all of their first five matches. Tottenham Hotspur are in second place, and Newcastle United are hot on their heels in third. Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool are all within touching distance of the top three, but Manchester United have made a disappointing start to the season and are down in seventh place.

It's still early days, and there's still a long way to go, but the Premier League is already shaping up to be a fascinating season. Who will win the title? Who will qualify for the Champions League? And who will be relegated? Only time will tell.
