Prince Edward




Prince Edward, the youngest son of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, was born on March 10, 1964, at Buckingham Palace. He is the fourth child and third son of the Queen and Duke, after Prince Charles, Princess Anne, and Prince Andrew.

Edward was educated at Gordonstoun School in Scotland, Jesus College, Cambridge, and the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. He served as an officer in the Royal Marines for two years before leaving the military to pursue a career in the entertainment industry.

In 1999, Edward married Sophie Rhys-Jones, a public relations executive. The couple have two children, Lady Louise Windsor and James, Viscount Severn. Edward and Sophie live at Bagshot Park in Surrey.

Edward is a keen sportsman and enjoys playing tennis, cricket, and golf. He is also a patron of many charities, including the Duke of Edinburgh's Award scheme.
