By the end of the week, students will be able to:

• Understand violence and forms of crimes in the context of new media.
• Understand ethical considerations of media violence in the wake of Islamic theology.

Lecture 13      : Violence and New Media

• Lecturer will discuss the impact of violence on youth via new media and internet.
• Will explain various kinds of violence engulfing the society such as drug, aggressiveness, sex etc.
• Will talk about theological remedies.

Practicals        : Class Presentation

• Students will be asked to make presentation on the issue of violence of the media.
• They can pick up one particular issue as instructed by the teacher.
