Rasna's journey began in Nairobi, Kenya, where she was born in 1962. From a young age, she developed a deep love for her country and a keen eye for social injustice. After graduating from the University of Nairobi with a degree in literature, she embarked on a career in journalism, working for various publications in Kenya and abroad.
Rasna's writing was characterized by its honesty, depth, and fearlessness.
