Ravonne Portner: The Woman Who Messed with the Wrong Cat
Ravonne Portner was a woman who loved cats. She had three of them, all rescues, and she doted on them like they were her own children. One day, Ravonne was walking home from work when she saw a stray cat sitting on the side of the road. The cat was thin and dirty, and it looked like it hadn't eaten in days. Ravonne's heart went out to the cat, so she took it home with her.
Ravonne named the cat Mittens, and she quickly became attached to her new pet. Mittens was a sweet and affectionate cat, and she loved to cuddle with Ravonne. However, Mittens had one strange quirk: she hated Ravonne's feet. Every time Ravonne tried to pet Mittens' paws, the cat would hiss and scratch at her.
Ravonne didn't understand why Mittens hated her feet so much, but she decided to just leave her alone. However, one day, Ravonne was sitting on the couch watching TV when Mittens jumped up on her lap and started to knead her feet. Ravonne was surprised, but she didn't think anything of it.
A few minutes later, Ravonne started to feel a sharp pain in her feet. She looked down and saw that Mittens was biting her toes! Ravonne screamed and jumped up, but Mittens just kept biting. Ravonne tried to shake Mittens off, but the cat was too strong.
Finally, Ravonne managed to get Mittens off of her feet, but the damage was done. Mittens had bitten her toes so badly that they were bleeding. Ravonne was in so much pain that she had to go to the emergency room.
The doctor told Ravonne that she had to get stitches in her toes. Ravonne was horrified. She had never had stitches before, and she was afraid that they would hurt. However, the doctor assured her that the stitches would only be temporary, and that her toes would heal quickly.
Ravonne went home and took some pain medication. She then lay down on the couch and tried to relax. However, she couldn't stop thinking about Mittens. Why had she attacked her like that? Ravonne didn't know, but she was determined to find out.
The next day, Ravonne went back to the spot where she had found Mittens. She hoped that she would be able to find the cat and ask her what had happened. However, Mittens was nowhere to be found. Ravonne searched and searched, but she couldn't find her anywhere.
Ravonne was disappointed, but she didn't give up. She went home and started to do some research online. She read about cats that bite, and she learned that there are a few reasons why a cat might attack a person. One reason is that the cat is feeling threatened. Another reason is that the cat is in pain.
Ravonne started to think about Mittens. She realized that Mittens had been acting strangely ever since she had brought her home. Mittens had been hiding under the bed a lot, and she had been eating less. Ravonne also remembered that Mittens had been injured when she had found her.
Ravonne realized that Mittens must have been in pain. She must have bitten Ravonne's toes because she was trying to tell her that she was hurt. Ravonne felt terrible. She wished that she had been more understanding of Mittens' pain.
Ravonne went back to the vet and told the doctor about her research. The doctor examined Mittens and found that she had a broken leg. The doctor put a cast on Mittens' leg and gave her some pain medication. Ravonne was relieved to know that Mittens would be okay.
Ravonne took Mittens home and made her a comfortable bed in the living room. She gave Mittens some food and water, and she stayed with her until she fell asleep. Ravonne was glad that she had been able to help Mittens. She knew that Mittens had forgiven her, and she was confident that they would be friends for life.
