Alexander Hamilton
(1757-1804)
Alexander Hamilton was born September 11, 1755 in Charlestown, Saint Kitts and Nevis. He was the son of James Hamilton and Rachel Fawcett. Hamilton's family was very poor unlike other founding fathers. His parents were not married when he was born.
Alexander Hamilton was denied education into the church school because of his parents not being married. He was self educated up until he was fifteen when he gave a description of a sermon he had seen. When some readers found out he wasn't in school they wanted to sponsor his way to education. He started school at Kings College in 1773. In 1775 he stopped his education to found a volunteer military company.

In this plan he argued that both the New Jersey and Virginia Plan would not work. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uzghm4kcl3E (video about Hamilton's plan). He was the only delegate from his state to sign the finished document of the Committee Of Style. Hamilton had a relatively small part in the convention debates and writing of the constitution due to absences. He however did support the constitution.
