I stumbled upon Rhys Mathieson's music a few years ago, and I've been hooked ever since. His sound is so unique and captivating. It's a mix of folk, rock, and pop, with a touch of Celtic influence. His lyrics are also really clever and thought-provoking. I had the chance to interview Rhys recently, and I was really impressed by his passion for music and his dedication to his craft.
Rhys, thanks for taking the time to talk to me today.

I'm a big fan of your music. It's so unique and captivating. How would you describe your sound?
I would say it's a mix of folk, rock, and pop, with a touch of Celtic influence. I've always been a fan of traditional folk music, but I also love rock and pop music. So I try to blend all of those influences together in my own music.
Your lyrics are also really clever and thought-provoking. Where do you get your inspiration from?
I get inspiration from all sorts of things. Sometimes it's from personal experiences, sometimes it's from things I read or see in the news. I'm always trying to write songs that are meaningful and that connect with people on a personal level.
What's been the highlight of your career so far?
I've had a lot of great experiences in my career, but I think the highlight would have to be playing at the Grand Ole Opry. It was a dream come true.
What are your plans for the future?
I'm currently working on my next album. I'm also planning to tour later this year. I'm really excited about the future and I can't wait to share my new music with my fans.
