RJ Abarrientos




RJ Abarrientos is a Filipino basketball player for the Ulsan Hyundai Mobis Phoebus of the Korean Basketball League (KBL). He played for the Far Eastern University Tamaraws in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP).

Abarrientos was born in Marikina, Philippines, on July 25, 1999. He started playing basketball at an early age and quickly developed a passion for the sport. He played for the Ateneo de Manila High School Blue Eaglets in high school and helped them win the UAAP Junior's division championship in 2017.

After graduating from high school, Abarrientos joined the Far Eastern University Tamaraws in the UAAP. He quickly became one of the team's top players and helped them win the UAAP championship in 2019. He was also named the UAAP Finals Most Valuable Player (MVP) that year.

In 2021, Abarrientos was selected by the Ulsan Hyundai Mobis Phoebus in the KBL Draft. He signed a one-year contract with the team and made his KBL debut in October 2021. He quickly became a key player for the Phoebus and helped them win the KBL championship in his rookie season.
