The Stadio Olimpico was host to a one-sided affair on Monday night, as Roma thrashed Parma 5-0 in a Serie A clash that was over as a contest before half-time.
Paulo Dybala was the star of the show, scoring a brace to take his tally for the season to 10. Alexis Saelemaekers, Leandro Paredes and Artem Dovbyk also got on the scoresheet as Roma moved up to third in the table.
The match was all but over as a contest by the 25th minute, with the hosts already 2-0 up thanks to goals from Dybala and Saelemaekers. Paredes made it three just before the break, and two goals in the final 10 minutes from Dovbyk and Dybala completed the rout.
The result was a disappointing one for Parma, who remain in the relegation zone despite a recent upturn in form. Roma, meanwhile, will be buoyed by their victory ahead of a tough run of fixtures.
