Charles Pinckney was born on 26 October 1757 in South Carolina and was one of the delegates of the constitution. He once said "the effects of the Revolution may never cease to operate," but continue to serve as an example to others "until they have unshackled all the nations that have firmness to resist the fetters of despotism," in South Carolina. He worked unceasingly for a central government. Charles Pinckney is part of the most distinguished family in South Carolina
