Rosalie Vaillancourt, A Canadian BALLET Star




Rosalie Vaillancourt is a Canadian ballet dancer known for her roles with the National Ballet of Canada and the Royal Ballet.
Vaillancourt was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, in 1996. She began dancing at the age of three and trained at the École supérieure de ballet du Québec. In 2014, she joined the National Ballet of Canada as an apprentice. In 2016, she was promoted to the rank of corps de ballet and in 2019, she was promoted to the rank of soloist.
Vaillancourt has danced a variety of roles with the National Ballet of Canada, including the Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker, Aurora in The Sleeping Beauty, and Odette/Odile in Swan Lake. She has also danced with the Royal Ballet in London, England.
Vaillancourt is a talented ballet dancer with a bright future. She is a beautiful and graceful dancer with a strong technical foundation. She is also a versatile dancer, able to dance a variety of roles.

Personal Reflections on Rosalie Vaillancourt's Dancing

I had the pleasure of seeing Rosalie Vaillancourt dance in The Nutcracker at the National Ballet of Canada in 2019. She was absolutely stunning in the role of the Sugar Plum Fairy. Her dancing was so graceful and fluid, and she had a wonderful stage presence. I was also impressed by her technical skills. She executed all of her steps with precision and ease.
I am a big fan of Rosalie Vaillancourt's dancing. I think she is one of the most talented ballet dancers in the world today. I am excited to see what she accomplishes in the future.

A Conversation with Rosalie Vaillancourt

I had the opportunity to interview Rosalie Vaillancourt after a performance of The Nutcracker at the National Ballet of Canada. She was very kind and gracious, and she took the time to answer all of my questions.
I asked her what it was like to dance the role of the Sugar Plum Fairy. She said that it was a dream come true. She had always wanted to dance the role, and she was so grateful for the opportunity.
I also asked her what her favorite role to dance was. She said that she loved dancing all of the different roles, but she especially enjoyed dancing the more dramatic roles. She said that she liked to be able to express her emotions through her dancing.
Rosalie Vaillancourt is a truly inspiring dancer. She is a talented artist who is passionate about her work. I am grateful for the opportunity to have seen her dance, and I am excited to see what she accomplishes in the future.
