Ryanair sues passenger




Ryanair is suing a passenger for 15,000 euros after the passenger allegedly disrupted a flight and forced it to be diverted.

The incident happened on a flight from Dublin to Lanzarote in April 2024. Ryanair claims that the passenger was disruptive and aggressive, and that they forced the flight to be diverted to Portugal.

Ryanair is seeking 15,000 euros in damages to cover the costs of the diversion, as well as the costs of the legal action.

The passenger has not yet commented on the lawsuit.

Ryanair's statement on the lawsuit:

"Ryanair has filed legal proceedings against a passenger who disrupted a flight and forced it to be diverted, and is seeking 15,000 euros in damages.

"The incident happened on a flight from Dublin to Lanzarote on April 9, 2024. The passenger was disruptive and aggressive, and forced the flight to be diverted to Portugal.

"Ryanair is committed to providing a safe and comfortable environment for all of our passengers. We will not tolerate disruptive or aggressive behavior that puts our passengers or crew at risk."
