SailGP live

For all of you who are not familiar with SailGP: It’s the most technologically advanced catamaran ever created. That’s what they say and I believe them. I had the chance to see a race last weekend in San Francisco. It was heart-stopping after the race started. The whole country was there and we all know how much we love sailing here. The stadium is very well set up in the harber: best seats for the spectators.
The broadcasting is done in a very professional way, with always professional comments from the best experts in the sailing area. Not only the comments are worth listening to, the racing is absolutely fantastic and it’s for me a new benchmark in the Sailing Sport. I also loved the fact that all the races are streamed live so that it’s accessible to everybody.
The user experience is very good: The page gives you easy access to live stream, highlights, and replays so you can really follow what’s happening. If you want to go further, I highly recommend you to read the blog of SailGP where they have a lot of insights about the races.
And I couldn’t end this article without talking about the most innovative aspect of SailGP: Oh. My. Goodness! That boat is flying! There are cameras on the cat that gives you unique insights of the race, and I think it’s what makes it even more exciting for the fans.
