Enviromental Changes in the Bahamas

My opinion on the Climate and Enviromental changes in the Bahamas is that people should be scared but most likley won't be alive.

• 80% of the land in the Bahamas is already within 5 ft. of sea level
• Over the past 100 years the global sea levels have risen 25 cm
• Most of the land already swamps during high tide

Don't get me wrong, this is happening and it is not very good but, it has taken 100 years just to rise 25 cm. That is almost a foot, which means that in 200 years it will have risen to almost 2 feet.

This is a serious problem but people keep trying to blame it on on thing or say that they can "change" the world in their life time. I personally don't think we can turn this whole thing around in time. I do think that the more we do we can make a small change but I think that it is a little too far along to do too much to stop it.
