Sam grew up in the suburbs of Chicago, and he’s lived in the city proper for the past 10 years. He’s a lifelong Cubs fan, and he loves spending time outdoors, exploring the city’s parks and beaches.
Sam is a writer and editor by trade, and he’s also a passionate advocate for Chicago’s arts and culture scene. He’s written about everything from the city’s best new restaurants to its most underrated museums.

And, of course, Sam has all the latest on the Cubs. They’re off to a great start this season, and Sam is excited to see what they can do.
Sam loves Chicago’s people. He says that Chicagoans are friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help out a stranger.
Sam also loves Chicago’s culture. He says that there’s always something to do in Chicago, whether it’s catching a Cubs game, seeing a play, or visiting a museum.
But most of all, Sam loves Chicago’s food. He says that Chicago has some of the best restaurants in the world.
Sam says that the best way to experience Chicago is to get out and explore. He recommends visiting the city’s many neighborhoods, each with its own unique character.
Sam also recommends taking advantage of Chicago’s public transportation system. He says that it’s easy to get around the city on the CTA.
And finally, Sam says that visitors should be sure to try some of Chicago’s famous food. He recommends deep-dish pizza, hot dogs, and Italian beef.
