Is í Samantha Mumba amhránaí Éireannach, a rugadh i bPort Láirge ar 18 Eanáir 1983. Bhí sí ar cheann de na hamanna pop is mó i dtuairimí na 2000í luatha, agus ar a cuid singil is cáiliúla tá "Gotta Tell You" agus "Body II Body".

Chuaigh Mumba isteach sa phost mar amhránaí ar an gclár teilifíse RTÉ "Young, Gifted and Black" sa bhliain 1999 agus scaoileadh a céad singil "Gotta Tell You" sa bhliain 2000. Bhí an singil sin ar cheann de na singil is mó i dtuairimí sa Ríocht Aontaithe agus i hÉirinn, agus chuaigh sí chun barr na gcairteanna i 17 tír ar fud an domhain. Lean sí an singil sin le "Body II Body" i Meán Fómhair 2000, a chuaigh go dtí uimhir 1 freisin sa Ríocht Aontaithe.

Scaoil Mumba a halbam amháin, "Gotta Tell You", i Samhain 2000, a chuaigh go dtí uimhir 9 sa Ríocht Aontaithe. Scaoil Mumba a dara halbam, "Woman", in 2002, but it was not as commercially successful as her debut. The album spawned two singles, "I'm Right Here" and "Always Come Back to Your Love". In 2004, she parted ways with her record label and has since released music independently.

Since then, Mumba has continued to perform and record music. She has also appeared in several films and television shows. In recent years, she has become more involved in activism and has spoken out on issues such as mental health and body positivity.
