SAMMY BLAIS
Sammy Blais is a Canadian professional ice hockey player for the New York Rangers of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was drafted 176th overall by the St. Louis Blues in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft.
Blais made his NHL debut with the Blues on October 12, 2017, against the Colorado Avalanche. He scored his first NHL goal on December 15, 2017, against the Calgary Flames.
Blais was traded to the New York Rangers on March 21, 2022, in exchange for a second-round pick in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft.
Blais is a skilled two-way forward who is known for his speed, agility, and defensive prowess. He is also a strong penalty killer.
