Sandara Park




Sandara Park, also known as Dara, is a South Korean singer, actress, and television personality. She is best known as a member of the girl group 2NE1, which was active from 2009 to 2016. She is also known for her roles in the television dramas The Return of Iljimae (2009), My Love from the Star (2013), and Dr. Romantic (2016).
Dara was born in Busan, South Korea on November 12, 1984. She moved to the Philippines with her family when she was 11 years old, and she attended the Philippine Cultural College in Manila. In 2004, she placed second in the reality television show Star Circle Quest, which led to her signing a contract with ABS-CBN, a Philippine television network.
Dara debuted as a member of 2NE1 in 2009, and the group quickly became one of the most popular girl groups in South Korea. 2NE1 released a number of hit songs, including "I Don't Care", "Fire", and "Come Back Home". The group also won numerous awards, including the Mnet Asian Music Award for Best Female Group in 2010 and 2011.
In 2016, 2NE1 disbanded, and Dara left YG Entertainment, the group's management company. She subsequently signed with a new management company, Creative Group Ingenium (CGA).
Since leaving 2NE1, Dara has continued to work as an actress and television personality. She has starred in the television dramas The Return of Iljimae (2009), My Love from the Star (2013), and Dr. Romantic (2016). She has also hosted a number of television shows, including Get It Beauty (2016) and I Live Alone (2017).
Dara is known for her bubbly personality and her love of food. She is also known for her close friendship with her fellow 2NE1 members, CL, Minzy, and Bom.
In 2019, Dara was diagnosed with cervical cancer. She underwent surgery and chemotherapy, and she is now in remission.
Dara is an inspiration to many people, and she is known for her positive attitude and her fighting spirit. She is a role model for many young people, and she is a reminder that anything is possible if you set your mind to it.
