SASSA payment dates for October 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) has announced the payment dates for social grants in October 2024.
The payment dates are as follows:
* Older Persons Grant: Wednesday, 2 October 2024
* Disability Grants: Thursday, 3 October 2024
* Children's Grants: Friday, 4 October 2024
* Foster Child Grants: Friday, 4 October 2024
* Care Dependency Grants: Friday, 4 October 2024
* War Veterans Grants: Friday, 4 October 2024
SASSA has urged beneficiaries to collect their grants as soon as possible to avoid any inconvenience. Beneficiaries can collect their grants at any SASSA pay point or at their nearest Post Office.
Beneficiaries who have not yet received their SASSA cards can collect their grants at their nearest SASSA office.
SASSA has also reminded beneficiaries that they can check their grant status online at the SASSA website or by calling the SASSA toll-free number.
