School closures: An uncertain future

As you may know by now, schools have been closed for the past few weeks due to the pandemic. This has been a difficult time for everyone, especially for students who are missing out on valuable learning time.
While it is important to stay safe and healthy, it is also important to ensure that our students are able to continue their education. That's why we are working hard to develop a plan for reopening schools in the fall.
We know that this is a complex issue, and there are many factors to consider. We want to make sure that our students are safe and that our staff is prepared. We also want to make sure that our students are able to continue their education in a way that is effective and engaging.
We are exploring all of our options, and we will be making a decision about reopening schools in the coming weeks. In the meantime, we will continue to provide updates to our community.
One of the things we are considering is a hybrid model, in which students would attend school in person some days and learn remotely on other days. This would allow our students to continue their education while also reducing the number of people in our buildings at any given time.
We are also considering a phased reopening, in which we would start by bringing back our youngest students first. This would allow us to get our youngest students back into the routine of school and to make sure that our safety protocols are working.
We know that this is a difficult time for everyone, and we appreciate your patience and understanding. We are committed to providing our students with the best possible education, and we will continue to work hard to develop a plan that meets the needs of our community.

In the meantime, we encourage you to stay safe and healthy. We look forward to seeing you all in the fall.
