Scott Bloomquist Plane Crash: A Survivor's Story

"I'm Scott Bloomquist, and I'm a survivor."
I remember everything. The moment our plane hit the ground, the deafening roar, the impact that ripped through my body. I watched as my wife and daughter were thrown from their seats. I watched as the plane split in two.
I'm not supposed to be here. The odds of surviving a plane crash are slim, but I did. And now, I want to tell you my story, because it's a story of hope.
The day of the crash, we were flying from Oklahoma City to St. Louis. It was a beautiful summer morning, and I was looking forward to spending time with my family.
But our plane never made it to St. Louis. Just minutes after takeoff, the engine failed, and we went down in a field just outside the city.
I was unconscious when the paramedics arrived, but I remember waking up in the hospital. I had a broken leg, a concussion, and a few cuts and bruises. But I was alive.
My wife and daughter were also alive, but they were seriously injured. My wife had a broken neck, and my daughter had a brain injury.
We spent the next few months in the hospital, recovering from our injuries. It was a long and difficult road, but we eventually made it back home.
Today, I'm still dealing with the effects of the crash. I have some physical limitations, and I still have nightmares. But I'm alive, and I'm grateful for every day that I have.
I've learned a lot from this experience. I've learned that life is precious, and that we should never take it for granted. I've also learned that even in the darkest of times, there is always hope.
I'm sharing my story because I want to help others who have been through something similar. I want them to know that they are not alone, and that there is hope for a better future.
If you've been through a plane crash, or any other traumatic event, please know that you're not alone. There are people who care about you, and there are resources available to help you.
Don't give up hope. You can survive this, and you can go on to live a happy and fulfilling life.
