I was walking down the street when I suddenly felt a strong gust of wind. I looked up and saw a huge black cloud billowing in the distance. The wind was so strong that it knocked me off my feet. I scrambled to my feet and tried to run for cover, but the wind was relentless.
As I ran I saw trees being uprooted and power lines snapping. The rain was coming down in sheets, making it almost impossible to see. I finally reached shelter in a nearby building, but by that time, I was soaked to the bone.
The people of Shanghai pulled together to help each other. I saw strangers helping strangers to safety. I saw people sharing food and water. It was a heartwarming display of humanity. The experience taught me a lot about the power of nature and the resilience of the human spirit. I’m grateful that I was able to experience it, and I’m proud of the people of Shanghai for coming together in the face of adversity.
