Singapore Public Transport Vouchers 2024

I'm excited to announce that the Singapore government has launched the 2024 Public Transport Vouchers (PTVs) scheme to help lower-income households cope with rising transportation costs.

Eligible households can apply for PTVs worth $60 each, a significant increase from the $50 vouchers offered in previous years. The vouchers can be used to offset public transportation expenses, including bus fares, MRT rides, and LRT journeys.

To qualify for the PTVs, households must meet certain income criteria. The application process is straightforward and can be done online or at local Community Centres (CCs).

The PTV scheme is part of the government's ongoing efforts to make public transportation more accessible and affordable for all Singaporeans. I encourage eligible households to take advantage of this scheme to ease their financial burden and support their daily commute.

How to Apply for PTVs

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for PTVs, households must:

  • Be Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents
  • Have a monthly household income of $1,600 or less (per person) for the past three months
  • Not own more than one car

Redemption Period

The PTVs will be valid for redemption from January 1, 2024, to March 31, 2026. They can be used on all public transportation modes, including buses, MRT, and LRT.

The 2024 PTV scheme is a valuable initiative that will provide much-needed financial assistance to lower-income households. I urge eligible households to apply for these vouchers to make their daily commute more affordable.

Together, let's make Singapore's public transportation system more accessible for all.
