Size 8
Is Size 8 Too Small?
I've been a size 8 for as long as I can remember. It's always been my go-to size when I'm shopping for clothes, and I've never really given it much thought. But lately, I've started to wonder if maybe I should be wearing a bigger size.
It all started when I went shopping for a new pair of jeans. I tried on my usual size 8, but they were too tight. I had to squeeze into them, and they were so uncomfortable. I tried on a size 10, and they fit perfectly. They were still a little snug, but they were comfortable.
I was surprised that I had to go up a size, but I was also relieved. I've always been self-conscious about my body, and I've always felt like I needed to be a size 8 to be considered thin. But maybe that's not true. Maybe it's ok to be a size 10.
I started doing some research, and I found out that the average American woman is now a size 14. That means that I'm actually below average. I'm not overweight, and I'm not obese. I'm just a normal woman.
So why do I feel so self-conscious about my body? I think it's because I've been bombarded by images of thin women in the media. I've seen them on TV, in magazines, and on billboards. And I've started to think that that's what I need to look like to be successful.
But it's not true. There's no such thing as a perfect body shape. Every body is different, and every body is beautiful. It's important to love your body, no matter what size it is.
So, if you're a size 8, or any other size for that matter, don't be afraid to wear a bigger size if you need to. It's ok to be comfortable. It's ok to be yourself. And it's ok to love your body.
