Strike April 15
We all know the feeling.
It's April 14th, and you're sitting at your desk, staring at your computer screen. You've been working on your taxes for hours, and you're just about ready to give up. You're tired, you're frustrated, and you just want to be done.
But you can't give up. You have to file your taxes by April 15th, or you'll be facing penalties and interest. So you keep working, even though you're exhausted.
Finally, you finish your taxes and hit the submit button. You're relieved to be done, but you're also exhausted. You've spent hours of your life on something that you didn't enjoy. And you know that you'll have to do it all again next year.
But what if there was a better way? What if you didn't have to spend hours of your life on your taxes? What if there was a way to make the process simpler, faster, and more enjoyable?
That's where Strike April 15th comes in.
Strike April 15th is a movement to simplify the tax code and make it easier for everyone to file their taxes.
The movement is supported by a coalition of organizations, including the American Institute of CPAs, the National Association of Tax Preparers, and the Tax Foundation.
The movement has three main goals:
- To simplify the tax code.
- To make it easier for everyone to file their taxes.
- To reduce the amount of time that people spend on their taxes.
The movement is gaining momentum, and it's already had some success. In 2017, the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act was passed, which simplified the tax code and made it easier for many people to file their taxes.
But there's still more work to be done. The tax code is still too complex, and it's still too difficult for many people to file their taxes.
That's why we need to keep fighting for Strike April 15th. We need to make our voices heard and demand a simpler, fairer tax system.
Together, we can make Strike April 15th a reality. Together, we can make it easier for everyone to file their taxes.
