The Death of Fiona MacDonald: A Letter from Her Devoted Sister

It is with a heavy heart that I write this letter to you today. My dear sister, Fiona MacDonald, passed away on the 15th of March, 2023, at the age of 67, after a brave battle with motor neurone disease.
Fiona was a wonderful sister, aunt, and friend. She was always kind, compassionate, and loving. She had a great sense of humor and a contagious laugh that always brightened my day.
I remember when we were children, we would spend hours playing together in the backyard. We would build forts out of blankets and pillows, and pretend to be princesses and knights. Fiona was always the brave one, always willing to take on the role of the hero.
As we grew older, our bond only grew stronger. We shared everything with each other, from our hopes and dreams to our fears and secrets. I could always count on Fiona for support, no matter what.
Fiona was also a talented actress and singer. She had a beautiful voice and a natural stage presence. I remember going to see her perform in a local theater production, and being so proud of her. She was such a natural talent.
I will miss Fiona every day, but I know that she is in a better place now. She will always be in my heart.
