"The g", as it was known, was a peculiar entity that haunted the halls of our old school. It was said to be the ghost of a former student who had died tragically, and its presence was often felt by those who dared to venture into the abandoned building.
I remember one particularly chilly night when I and my friends decided to explore the old school. We had heard stories about "The g" for years, but we never really believed them. We thought it was just a silly legend to scare children.
As we cautiously made our way through the dimly lit hallways, we could hear strange noises all around us. The floorboards creaked and groaned beneath our feet, and the wind howled through the broken windows. We were starting to get scared, but we were also trying to stay brave.
Suddenly, we heard a faint whimpering sound coming from one of the classrooms. We slowly opened the door and peered inside. The room was dark, but we could make out the shape of a small figure huddled in the corner.
"Who's there?" we asked, but there was no answer. The figure just continued to whimper.
We cautiously approached the figure, and as we got closer, we could see that it was a young girl. She was dressed in a white nightgown, and her long black hair was hanging over her face. Her skin was pale, and her eyes were wide with fear.
"Are you okay?" we asked, but she didn't respond. She just kept whimpering.
We tried to touch her, but she pulled away from us. She was like a wild animal, scared and untamed.
We didn't know what to do. We couldn't leave her there, but we didn't know how to help her either.
Eventually, we decided to call the police.
When the police arrived, they took the girl into custody. We never found out who she was or what happened to her, but we never forgot that night.
I often wonder what happened to that girl. Was she really a ghost, or was she just a lost and frightened child? I guess I'll never know, but I'll never forget the night I saw "The g."
