A newborn baby has defied the odds after being born with just a 1% chance of survival.

Jordan Jeffrey was born on 12 July 2023, weighing just 1lb 1oz. He was born with a number of health problems, including a heart defect, lung problems, and a brain bleed.

Doctors told his parents, Sarah and James, that he had just a 1% chance of survival. However, Jordan is a fighter and he has proved the doctors wrong.

He has spent the last few months in hospital, but he is now doing well and is expected to be able to go home soon.

His parents are overjoyed with his progress and they are grateful to the doctors and nurses who have helped him.

Sarah said: "We are so proud of Jordan. He is a little miracle."

James added: "He is a little fighter and he has proved the doctors wrong.
