I've always been drawn to the outdoors. As a kid, I would spend hours exploring the woods behind my house, building forts, and pretending to be a courageous explorer. As I got older, my love of nature only grew stronger. I started hiking, camping, and kayaking, and I found that there was nothing quite like being surrounded by the beauty of the natural world.
One of my favorite memories is from a camping trip I took with my family when I was in college. We hiked to a remote lake, set up camp, and spent the next few days exploring the area. We swam in the crystal-clear water, hiked to the top of a nearby mountain, and roasted marshmallows over a campfire. Another time, I was hiking in the Smoky Mountains when I came across a black bear. I was a little scared at first, but the bear didn't seem to be interested in me. It just kept walking through the forest, and I was able to watch it from a safe distance. It was an amazing experience to see such a powerful animal in its natural habitat.
