THE SCARIEST NIGHT OF MY LIFE!

It was a dark and stormy night. The wind howled outside, and the rain beat against the windows. I was sitting in my room, reading a book, when I suddenly heard a noise.
I looked up and saw a dark figure standing in the doorway. I couldn't make out its face, but it was tall and thin, and its eyes glowed red in the darkness.
I was so scared, I couldn't move. I just sat there, frozen, as the figure slowly moved towards me.
It reached out its hand and touched my face. Its skin was cold and clammy, and its nails were long and sharp.
I screamed and jumped to my feet. The figure recoiled in surprise and then turned and ran out of the room.
I ran to the door and looked out into the hallway. But the hallway was empty.
I was so shaken, I could barely stand. I went back to my room and got into bed.
But I couldn't sleep. I kept thinking about the figure I had seen. What was it? And why had it come to my room?
I lay there for hours, listening to the wind and rain outside. Finally, I fell asleep.
But I didn't sleep for long. I woke up in the middle of the night, feeling like something was wrong.
I looked around the room, but I couldn't see anything. Then I heard it.
A faint scratching sound.
It was coming from the closet.
I slowly got out of bed and walked over to the closet. I opened the door, and there it was.
The figure from my dream.
It was standing in the corner of the closet, its eyes glowing red in the darkness.
I screamed and slammed the door shut. I ran back to my bed and pulled the covers over my head.
I lay there, shaking, until the sun came up.
The next day, I told my parents what had happened. They didn't believe me at first, but when they saw the scratches on my face, they knew I was telling the truth.
My parents called the police, but they never found the figure.
I never saw the figure again, but I never forgot that night. It was the scariest night of my life.

I still don't know what the figure was, or why it came to my room. But I'm glad it's gone.

I'm Akeia Umakanta. I'm 10 years old. I live in a small town in the Midwest.

I've always been afraid of the dark. I'm not sure why. Maybe it's because I've heard so many scary stories about things that go bump in the night.

One night, I was sleeping in my bed when I woke up to a noise. I looked around the room, but I couldn't see anything. Then I heard it again. It was a scratching sound. It was coming from the closet.

I slowly got out of bed and walked over to the closet. I opened the door, and there it was.

Akeia Umakanta stared back at me with glowing red eyes.

I screamed and slammed the door shut. I ran back to my bed and pulled the covers over my head.

I lay there, shaking, until the sun came up.

The next day, I told my parents what had happened. They didn't believe me at first, but when they saw the scratches on my face, they knew I was telling the truth.

My parents called the police, but they never found Akeia Umakanta.

I never saw Akeia Umakanta again, but I never forgot that night. It was the scariest night of my life.
