We learned how to use our Netbooks! We also visited ABCYA.com to begin learning our netbook keys! THEN, we learned how to visit Google Sketchup! We learned that working with a partner on a building project is a little hard, because we both want to move the mouse! Sharing is not always easy. Now we know we can be architects in the future, if we want to!
We learned how to use Netbooks too! We went to ABCYA.com, learned our keyboarding, and learned how to play some math and art games. We also learned how to open a Microsoft Office Word document and type in our names and family members' names!
We love our new Netbooks! They are so shiny and new! We learned how to open them, how to use the keys, how to get to Internet Explorer and use it to find ABCYA.com, a good site for kids' learning games. Then we learned how to log off and shut down the Netbook.
Us too! Netbook time in the third grade was so cool!
Yep! You guessed it! Netbook time for us! We learned everything our younger brothers and sisters learned, plus we began to use them for our curriculum, like research on Pennsylvania. They are also great for getting on First in Math, AND our new Terra Nova prep site. We are working hard to improve our scores!
Netbooks here, too! We are happy to have this addition to our learning program.
Yes, Netbooks! We learned how to distribute and collect the netbooks, how to care for them as a learning tool, and how to have fun with them.
Ditto! Netbooks! We have used them for First in Math and Terra Nova prep work. Some of us visited www.buildyourwildself.com to learn how to show the site to our Prayer Partners. Some people think the site is just for younger kids, but we don't mind saying we really liked it!
We are also learning all about blogging and blog commenting. We all have accounts on Kidblog.org, and we are beginning to put our blogs out there. It's a safe site that only we and our teachers can visit.
Netbooks were the thing for the first 3 weeks of Technology. We visited Google Earth and found our school. We'll be heading for Darfur next week. We've been to First in Math and Terra Nova prep at BrightEducation.com. We have begun serious keyboarding at www.powertyping.com, and are getting used to having our speed and accuracy evaluated and scored. We are keeping a Notebook Log of our technology experiences in the lab this year. This will give us some ideas about blogging topics AND how we can use each program and app we learn for our curriculum classes.
