It's not what you know, in one sense it's who and how you are connected. This day echoes for me the older idea of being "languaged into being," now it is a more a issue of "being connected into being". The day also evidenced the power of this technology that enables us all to choose our learning styles, incorporate new ones and most wonderfully to become deliscilously contaminated with the multiple ways others learn.
There is no one way or right way to learn or see the world, its multi modal, multi adapatable and happily multi falliable - you can fail forwards in this space without feeling a fool.
These tools really do develope the democratic personality as we internalise the truth that we take full reponsibilety for learning.
The real joy though is that as teachers we can through how we use this technology to help our students connect to learning for life in ways that are far more holistic and interactive than any generation before us has ever had!
