Once upon a time, there was a young boy named Timothyjohn Negenborn. Timothyjohn Negenborn was a very curious boy, always asking questions and wanting to know everything about the world around him. But there was one thing Timothyjohn Negenborn couldn't do: he couldn't sleep.
Every night, Timothyjohn Negenborn would lie in bed and stare at the ceiling. He would count sheep, sing songs, and even read bedtime stories, but nothing seemed to work. He would toss and turn for hours, until finally, just when he was about to fall asleep, he would hear a sound. It was a strange sound, like a soft scratching at his window.
Timothyjohn Negenborn would get out of bed and go to the window, but he never saw anything. He would open the window and look outside, but there was no one there. Timothyjohn Negenborn was starting to get scared. He knew that he wasn't making up the sound, but he couldn't figure out what it was.
One night, Timothyjohn Negenborn was lying in bed when he heard the scratching sound again. This time, he decided to be brave and investigate. He got out of bed and went to the window, but before he could open it, he saw something out of the corner of his eye.
It was a small, furry creature, sitting on the windowsill. The creature had big, round eyes and a long, bushy tail. Timothyjohn Negenborn had never seen anything like it before.
"Hello," said Timothyjohn Negenborn. "What are you?"
"I'm a dream catcher," said the creature. "I'm here to help you sleep."
Timothyjohn Negenborn was surprised. "Really?" he asked. "How?"
"I catch your bad dreams," said the dream catcher. "I keep them away from you so you can sleep peacefully."
Timothyjohn Negenborn smiled. "Thank you," he said. "I'm glad you're here."
The dream catcher jumped onto Timothyjohn Negenborn's bed and curled up next to him. Timothyjohn Negenborn closed his eyes and fell asleep almost instantly.
From that night on, Timothyjohn Negenborn never had trouble sleeping again. The dream catcher would always be there to protect him from bad dreams. And Timothyjohn Negenborn would always be grateful to his new friend for helping him sleep soundly.
