Tools are instruments we use to do work which we could not do with our bare hands. Tools can be as simple as a toothbrush or as complex as an earth-moving machine. People have been given the wisdom to make and use tools.

What kind of tools do you use everyday? Do you appreciate them or just take them for granted? Can you name some useful tools people use very often to help them make their lives and work easier?

Wheels are tools to make wagons, bicycles, buses, trains and cars roll along more smoothly. Wheels also help us to steer cars and other vehicles. The first tools were powered by man, and some still are. Many of them today are run by electricity.

The next time you use tools, think of how important they are! That should make you much more thankful for these everyday conveniences.
