Red Sox Analyst Jerry Remy Undergoing Treatment For Lung Cancer

Jerry Remy, a previous Red Sox second baseman and long-term TV expert for the group, reported Wednesday he would move back from his telecom obligations to go through therapy for cellular breakdown in the lungs.
In an articulation, Remy communicated his thankfulness for the help from NESN, from the Red Sox, and from the entirety of the fans, and said: "As I have done previously and will keep on doing, I will fight this with all that I have."
The 68-year-old previous Red Sox second baseman was first determined to have cellular breakdown in the lungs in 2008, backslid in 2013, and again twice in 2017.
Remy has been the shading observer for the Boston Red Sox on the New England Sports Network since 1988.
