Investigation: Another Second-half Collapse Dooms Steve Sarkisian's Longhorns

AUSTIN (KXAN) — The Texas Longhorns went six straight belongings without acquiring a first down to end Saturday's down against Oklahoma State. Texas' subsequent half battles transformed into a second consecutive misfortune, sending this Longhorns football season into one more period of dissatisfaction.
Oklahoma State mobilized from halftime, outscoring the Longhorns 19-7 for a 32-24 success. On those six Texas drives, the offense just acquired 14 yards. It's longest drive during that stretch took 2:03 off the clock.
Multi week of battles in the subsequent half is an issue. A second seven day stretch of battles in the subsequent half is an example.
In postgame, the Longhorns first-year lead trainer continually alluded back to the second half disappointments, saying he accepts his group is attempting to intellectually react to misfortune. Texas level out couldn't execute in the second half against the Pokes.
While the Longhorns offense battled to remain on the field, the guard wore out, permitting Oklahoma State to open up running paths for large gains.
Texas didn't play correlative football Saturday, Sarkisian said after the game. The Longhorns have a great deal of issues to address with about fourteen days between games.
