Vin Scully, The Voice Of Baseball, Dies At 94

Vin Scully, frequently called baseball's writer laureate for his smooth reportage in a uniquely extensive telecom profession with the Brooklyn and Los Angeles Dodgers, kicked the bucket Tuesday, the Dodgers declared.

He was 94. The Dodgers didn't give a reason for death however said he kicked the bucket at home in the Hidden Hill part of Los Angeles.

"We have lost a symbol," Dodgers president and CEO Stan Kasten said. "The Dodgers' Vin Scully was quite possibly of the best voice in all of sports. He was a goliath of a man, as a telecaster, yet all at once as a philanthropic person. He adored individuals. He adored life. He adored baseball and the Dodgers. What's more, he cherished his loved ones. His voice will continuously be heard and scratched in each of our brains for eternity. I realize he was anticipating joining his first love, Sandi. Our contemplations and petitions to heaven go out to his family during this extremely challenging time. Vin will be really missed."

"He was the voice of the Dodgers, thus considerably more.
