An attack charge against Wimbledon finalist Nick Kyrgios has been referenced in an Australian court.

The tennis pro was absent when the matter - in which he is blamed for attacking his previous accomplice - was heard before justice Louise Taylor in the Australian Capital Territory Magistrates Court on Tuesday morning.

His legitimate delegate Michael Kukulies-Smith mentioned a deferment on the premise that his client invested little energy in the Australian Capital Territory, however wouldn't disclose further subtleties.

The case has been concluded until October 4.

The world number 26 has performed well on the court since Wimbledon - including winning the Washington Open and arriving at the Canadian Open quarter-finals - and will be cultivated at the US Open, which starts on August 29.
