LYNCHBURG, Va. - Thanks to your spare change, renovated stopping meters around Lynchburg are having a major effect.

Change for Change Caring Meters gather cash and when they save $1,000, the association will give it to a nearby association out of luck.

With the assistance of matching accomplices, they introduced a $4,000 check Tuesday to the Lynchburg Area Youth Sports Initiative.

The gathering puts together spring up sports centers for kids and gives them gear through the Lynchburg Sports Locker.

Todd Olsen, head ladies' soccer mentor at the University of Lynchburg, is a piece of the drive. He said the cash will give more kids open doors.
