Radford's F4 vehicles have a carbon composite monocoque and are fueled by a 2-liter Honda motor, which can deliver around 160 brake pull.
"There's no windscreen before you; you can see the tires before you secure, how they're moving," Barnard said. "At the point when you get in the Formula 4, you feel everything, you're feeling each gearshift you do, each breaking you do and how you turn, and on the off chance that you're treating it terribly, you know."
His child, Cole Barnard, said the F4 driving experience was not normal for any he's at any point had.
"It's open-wheel, you're down sitting 2 creeps off the ground," he said. "It's like high-def driving, there's nothing before you other than the street."
The main thing protecting the drivers from the breeze is their head protector and race suit.
The Barnards and a third understudy, CJ Enns of Canada, went through the morning of their last day at the school finding out about the distinctions between the Ligiers and the Dodge Challengers they drove on the initial three days. They drove F4 vehicles that evening, following a teacher on the track.
