Delhi is playing host to the nation's first on-ground e-sports competitions following a hole of two years. The competition, what began on Tuesday, will end on April 28 and will see 16 groups fight it out for a Rs 55 lakh prize pot in Battlegrounds Mobile India, otherwise called BGMI. Additionally on April 28, four groups will consume virtual elastic as they participate in the Asphalt dashing competition.
While crowds are not permitted to join in, Loco said it will live-stream the matches in Hindi, English and Tamil.

With the facilitating of COVID19 limitations around the world, an in-person assembling of players offers us a chance to bring back (such) competitions," Akshat Rathee, MD and Co-Founder, NODWIN Gaming, said in an official statement.
