Las Cruces High Jazz Band Concert To Benefit Ruidoso Wildfire Victims

To help families recuperating from the rapidly spreading fire, the Las Cruces High School jazz band is playing out an advantage show.

The band will perform from 5 to 6:30 p.M. Saturday, April 30 at The Game Sports Bar and Grill, 2605 S Espina St., and The Game will give 10% of the returns of the evening to help out of control fire casualties for the band's benefit.

"The LCHS Band was sufficiently lucky to have the local area come together for them in their period of scarcity after our band truck was taken," said Ty Frederick, LCHS band chief. "In the wake of catching wind of the pulverization from the fierce blazes in Ruidoso, the band needed to make a move to offer in return. We need to express gratitude toward Marci Dickerson, proprietor of The Game, for this magnificent association."

No tickets or RSVP are expected to join in.

Likewise, this week, Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham reported the All Together NM Fund is gathering gifts for New Mexicans affected by out of control fires consuming across the state. The assets will be disseminated to impacted New Mexico people group in a joint effort with neighborhood associations for crisis haven, food and water conveyance, and admittance to clinical help.
