Badgering Of Coach Santhi: Notice Sent To Magazine, Sports Official

Gopi Shankar has given a notification to the distributer of the Tamil magazine Kumudam regarding a 'slanderous' story as of late distributed in the magazine against Santhi Soundarajan and raising 'bogus charges' unsettling her sex personality. A notification has been given independently to the Member Secretary, Sports Development Authority of Tamil Nadu asking the body to make a departmental move against mentor Abraham Rajan for submitting 'bogus remarks and questions' against the sexual orientation character of Santhi. 

In the notification gave to the Tamil magazine, Gopi Shankar looked for a statement of regret from the Kumudam distributing house for distributing 'bogus charges' as an article that had showed up in the magazine without realizing Santhi's side of the story. 

The privileges of Santhi are ensured under the Constitution of India and the Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Act, 2019, the notification further said and needed the magazine to distribute a meeting of Santhi with the goal that a reasonable story could be reached to the perusers. 

Gopi Shankar said that conventional procedures would be started against the distributing bunch on the off chance that it didn't make any move concerning the 'abusive' article which was distributed. Gopi Shankar in the notification to the Sports Development Authority of Tamil Nadu said formal procedures would be started against Abraham Rajan on the off chance that the office didn't make any move on him. 

Gopi Shankar said over telephone on Wednesday that the notification were given a couple of days prior in the wake of consistent provocation of Santhi. The Commission had gotten an on-record protest from Santhi as of late in such manner. 

'We are not regarding this as a detached case however considering this to be an assault on female competitors with different sex qualities,' said Gopi Shankar.
