Colby Covington says the main thing that required fixing in the repercussions of his UFC 245 conflict with Kamaru Usman is some helpless sucker's Photoshop abilities.
An outright exhilarating battle pitting Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Welterweight champion Usman versus Covington featured UFC 245 on Dec. 14, 2019. Reports came out after the battle that Covington, who lost by means of fifth-round specialized knockdown (TKO), experienced a messed up jaw (watch features here). "Turmoil", in a new meeting, passionately dismissed the likelihood that his jaw snapped.
"It was one of the most exceedingly terrible Photoshops — let me say — throughout the entire existence of this game," Covington told ESPN. "Somebody proceeded to take a picture off Google. They put my name on it, 'Colby Covington.' And for one thing, if you at any point see a X-beam film, it never will peruse your name straight across. It'll look in reverse. They Photoshopped the picture. The front tooth had a cap on it. Do I have covers on my front teeth? I don't think so.
"So it was only a terrible Photoshop and that is only the savages. Individuals that disdain me the most on the grounds that they disdain my prosperity. They disdain that I'm in this position. They disdain that I'm improving in life than them, so they need to attempt to ruin me and they need to minimize my achievements. The media went for it."
Usman versus Covington 2 features UFC 268, occurring inside Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York on Sat., Nov. 6 by means of ESPN+ pay-per-view (PPV). Other huge battles on the card incorporate UFC Women's Strawweight champion Rose Namajunas versus Zhang Weili, Justin Gaethje versus Michael Chandler, Frankie Edgar versus Marlon Vera, and Al Iaquinta versus Bobby Green.
