Local Sportswear Brand Raising Money For CMN Hospitals

(WXOW) - A local sportswear and training company will be hosting a fundraiser on Friday to benefit Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.

Streignth, which was found by UW-La Crosse student Shane Skaar, will host a tee shirt fundraiser at District 901 Gym on Friday from 12-3:00 p.M. 

The shirts say, "The Streignth to Conquer" on the front as has the Streignth and CMN Hospital's logo on the back. 

Skaar plans to campaign for CMN Hospitals all month with the new shirts. He started the fundraiser for November due to medical emergencies he experienced when he was a kid. 

"Growing up, I had my own problems to go through," said Skaar. "I had a chest condition which I had to get fixed which is why Streignth all started in the first place."

A portion of the proceeds from each shirt sold will go toward CMN Hospitals. The tee shirt launch takes place at 901 State St.
