Sports Sedan racer Nick Smith has honored the wellbeing hardware in his Mazda RX7 after it was immersed on fire throughout the end of the week.
Dashing as a component of the help card to the Bunnings Trade Sydney SuperNight at Sydney Motorsport Park, Smith struck difficulty from the get-go in the initial practice meeting of the end of the week.

Taking to online media, he said thanks to marshals and individual contenders for their help with what might have been a far more terrible circumstance.
"On the fourth lap of Practice 1 an o-ring on an injector fizzled and showered fuel all over," Smith composed.
"A fireball ejected in the motor narrows and lodge. I was out of the vehicle as quick as possible as my hands and suit were ablaze.
"The fire bomb saved the vehicle from catching fire without a doubt."
Individual contender Daniel Nolan halted to help, offering his own fire quencher as Smith attempted to battle the burst earlier.
Before long, two marshals went to by walking before the fire engine eventually drenched the fire.
"I can't say a large enough thank you to Daniel Nolan for pulling over and giving me his fire douser to keep battling the flares while we hung tight for the fire team," Smith noted.
