The Lady Bombers were driven by individual next in line Rylee Patterson, while the Bombers were paced by Andrew Westphal, who won the singular state title in a period of 15 minutes, 41.62 seconds over the 5K (3.1 miles) distance.
The Lady Bombers edged Hot Springs Lakeside by two, 72-74, to win the title, while Lake Hamilton was third with a 92 group score.
Patterson completed in 19:00.62, while individual senior Jordan Ritenburg set 10th in 20:05.76, Bailey Ritenburg was fifteenth in 20:38.06, Erin Smith was eighteenth in 20:53.56, Whitney Wilber balanced the group scoring in 28th, and colleague Cayla McMaster was 29th.
"Winning once is amazingly difficult to do, yet winning consecutive in the wake of losing key sprinters from last year is a demonstration of the group's way of life and authority," Mountain Home mentor Wil Norris said. "I'm so glad for these young ladies and what they have achieved."
Lake Hamilton's Olivia Pielemeier won the singular title in 18:44.61. Pielemeier and Patterson ran the two quickest times ever on the Oaklawn course in the 5A characterization, as per Norris.
Lake Hamilton won the young men's title, edging Mountain Home, 48-56. Russellville was a far off third with 138 focuses.
In the young men's race, Westphal took an unequivocal action to hole the field and never thought back. Lake Hamilton's Evan Armitage was second in 15:53.32. Westphal's time was the quickest out of all orders at the meet.
"His success today was a perfection of long stretches of devotion and penance," Norris said. "He's defeated a ton of affliction the recent years. Nobody merited it more than him."
Junior Ky Bickford completed third for Mountain Home in 16:02.98, while sophomore Hendrix Hughes was tenth in 16:36.33, Anderson Hodges was nineteenth in 17:05.22, and Bryson Hodges balanced the scoring in 23rd spot.
Patterson and both Ritenburg sisters procured all-state praises in the young ladies' race, while Westphal, Bickford, Hughes and Anderson Hodges were named all-state for the young men.
"It's difficult to come up short once more," Norris said, "however paying little mind to the outcome, I was unable to be more pleased with this gathering of young men. They've emptied their hearts into this excursion. It's an honor to have instructed them."
